Hi my name is Brion Egan and my wife is DeAnna. We are getting ready to retire and wanted to escape the cold Idaho winters that we experience here. We liked the St George area and it was close enough to home if we needed to come back for a day or two we could. We decided to build in Dixie Springs because it was close to a lot of different recreation and liked the neighborhood. We have a close family and when one plays all the kids and grandkids want to come and be apart of it too. We started our original home with American Heritage Homes in late spring of 2012. After interviewing several contractors I felt the most comfortable with Seth and Shem. They completed the home in excellent time and the workmanship and working relationship with them was excellent. Then, realizing after the first outing with our family we had under built and needed more bedrooms and room for the Grandkids, we needed to expand. I was able to buy the lot next to me and asked Seth and Shem to build me an addition onto the original home because we were so pleased with their work on the home. I was a general contractor in Idaho and have been involved in the construction industry for over 25 years. I new what I was looking for in a contractor. Most all contractors have the skills and ability to build and complete the project in a very acceptable manor. They might get to the finished product differently but they will get there never the less. It is the little things that separate Seth and Shem. The addition was very complicated because I did not want it to look like an addition. I wanted it to blend with the original home but yet I had certain ideas of what I needed. They walked with me from start to finish, starting with the design. Their input into the project was invaluable. There was constant communication with Shem during the construction process. He would always call me and ask if it was ok to proceed with a change if it became necessary, also I received several calls with him starting with, "Brion, I think we need to do this, or I really think it would look better if we did this, but always ending with I will do whatever you want. This and many other little things that go unnoticed is what made me so happy with them. Again, their ability to perform the work and their Honesty in their dealings is a fresh and unusual part of the construction industry. My wife Deanna summed it up in one sentence. "THEY ARE AWESOME." After spending time in the model we felt that this particular style of home, coupled with cost, location and available features made American Heritage Homes an easy choice to build our Southern Utah home. We were most impressed by the ability for American Heritage Homes to adhere to the planned schedule and budget throughout the entire project. Our custom home was built in 14 weeks. The project came in on budget with absolutely NO surprises exceeding our expectations in every way. The owners of American Heritage are great folks to work with. They are well organized, and are generally responsive. They worked with us on many issues and stood behind their work after we moved in. We feel they are honest and hard working. We had some issues and they worked hard to make us happy. We are pleased with the overall construction. We have issues with the flooring which was the result of the work by the subcontractor, but we would highly recommend this builder to others.

My husband and I just finished building our first home together and we couldn't be more happier with the way it turned out! American Heritage nailed our ideas and made them come alive! From the moment we walked in to their office, till they left us with our keys we had an amazing adventure building our forever home! Thank you American Heritage for everything!!!!!

When my wife and I qualified a builder for our most recent home, our primary considerations were quality of build and integrity. Seth & Shem came very highly recommended in both regards. No construction project will be perfect. A contractors' ability to foresee potential problems and eliminate them, along with how they respond when a problem arises - is what sets them apart. Shem and Seth are very detail oriented, and at the same time maintain schedules. When problems came up they presented us with the options, their recommendations and let us choose how to move forward. Very professional but with a personal touch. I have no problem recommending AHH!

We have built several homes ourselves and have worked with numerous contractors during our careers, but none have been as professional or have paid attention to detail as American Heritage. I had heard many positive things about American Heritage homes through reliable sources but didn't know a home builder could meet let alone go above and beyond my expectations. I knew right after meeting with the owners Shem & Seth and their building team that I was in good hands for my very first custom home build. Everything from the beginning stages, they took time to drive me around to several of their existing homes and homes in production to give me ideas on floor plans and then took time to go over in great detail to customize my plan accordingly. Since then I've met in person to go over details for interior: (paint, finishes, cabinetry, flooring, fixtures, window treatments etc.) and exterior options and details (lighting, cement color and texture, landscaping etc.), they've been very thorough and have kept me in the loop of things on a weekly basis! My Mind is definitely at ease knowing I can trust such a reputable team. This has been such a positive experience for me and I'm looking forward to move in day, in my new American Heritage home. American Heritage built our home in Dixie Springs in 2013. I have built 6 homes in my life (3 custom and 3 cookie cutter) and this was by far the most personal and pleasant experience. Cost was fair, after the sale service and quality was excellent. Seth and Shem exceeded my expectations with the sale and build cycles, Yvonne was helpful with interior selections and Josh was excellent in follow up service - always taking care of items without question. What a pleasure that has been. As with all builders using subcontractors, their challenge is to make sure they receive quality workmanship in a timely manner from those subs and they have done a good job with this. Never before have I walked into a finished home and been surprised with extra features that I did not expect; and they provide value in their homes with excellent standards, which allowed us to focus on upgrades that added value instead of being nickel and dimed to death with upgrades like many other builders with low grade standards. These are genuinely good honest people that like and care about people and building homes. I would recommend them without hesitation.
